Descr: Sets AmigaOS clock to local time when system clock is set to GMT (so NetBSD will have the 'right' timezone :-). Keywords: time rexx AmigaOS This is a little script that will set you AmigaDos clock to local time when your system clock is set to GMT. I find it better than hacking the kernel to expect local time on the system clock. Easier, too :^) The nasty thing is that when you set your clock using the Time prefence utlity, you have to save as GMT, then go back and do a use on localtime. This also applied to utlities designed to set you clock from another system (there's one for AmiTCP that I use occasionally). I have no idea who wrote it originally. It was given to me by my brother David, and I don't think he wrote it, but maybe. It's just one of those things that floats around. -Stephen Champion steve@kuru.com
