FreeDOS HTML Help Command
ÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄ
The FreeDOS help command offers a much simpler and much prettier help
interface than those supplied with other version of DOS (MS-DOS, DR-DOS,
PC-DOS, etc...). Anyone can easily use this easy-to-use help system in
their programs, assuming of course, it is not for profit. If it is a
program you wish to profit off of, call me and I will determine if it is
suitable for your application.
How to include new files
------------------------
If you create or edit a new help file, save it under the files directory,
and be sure to add it like this Description.
It doesn't necessarily have to go in the files directory, but it helps keep
everything organized. Also, try to use something like the MS-DOS Editor to
add help files. You can use other ones, but take a look at the help file
first before adding it to the zip file.
This I Ask Of You
-----------------
I did not include any help files for the Utilities category or the Compilers
and Assemblers. If you wish to add a help file for any of these, please do
so and email me any HTML files that were modified so I can repost them. When
I have received the new HTML files, I will post an announcement on the
FreeDOS mailing list that a particular command now has a help file.
One more thing, if you contribute a program to FreeDOS, and include the help
file, be sure to put them in the help file in alphabetical order.
