Here is some documentation on what "images" were 'hepl'fied.
So if they just wish to get the HEPL out and put your "site" images in, 
these are the files they need to change.

From redhat-logo's rpm
------------------------------
	firstboot/firstboot-header.png
	firstboot/splash-small.png
	bootloader/grub-splash.png
	bootloader/grub-splash.xpm.gz
	bootloader/rhlilo-en.pcx
	bootloader/rhlilo-ja.pcx

  You will have to rebuild this rpm with your changes and then put it
  in your sites/<site>/Updates directory.  Please change the "Release" to 
  be your "site" vs "HEPL" to distinguish it.

  NOTE: under bootloader, there are grub-splash.xcf.gz and 
  rhlilo-en.xcf.gz.  These are the pictures in the gimps layered format.  
  It is easiest to change these files and then just save them in the 
  appropriate format.

From anaconda-images
------------------------------
	anaconda_header.png
	first-375.png
	first-lowres.png
	first.png
	progress_first.png
	splash.png
	syslinux-splash.png

  You can put your versions of these files in 
  sites/<site>/RHupdates/pixmaps directory. Or create a new anaconda-images  
  rpm.  Please change the "Release" if you create a new rpm.

  NOTE1:As is noted above, there are several .xcf and .xcf.gz files here.  
  These are there to make it easier to create your own images, as they are 
  in the layered format.

Boot Loader Image
-------------------------
Although these are done seperatly, they are usually based off of the 
anaconda-images syslinux-splash.  The images that made the boot loader 
images for hepl are found in
/afs/fnal.gov/files/home/room2/dawson/linux/misc/3hepl.diskimage
syslinux-splash.hepl.xcf (The gimp picture, layered)
syslinux-splash.png (the above picture converted to 16 color png)
splash.lss (the above picture converted to .lss)
command (the command that converted the png to lss, along with some 
notes to help keep track of the colors.)
