Documentation: SLAC Report 234, 1988 See Also: CHP Abstract: HANDYPAK is a library of Fortran subroutines which a user may call for defining, accumulating, and outputting histograms or scatter plots, with a minimal number of subroutine calls. Output can be sent to a line printer, or to a variety of graphic devices. A large number of plotting options are available for customizing the plotting format. Sliced projections and statistical means and variances, as well as smooth curves and user specified functions or contours may also be output with the histogram. User blocks may be defined for holding/editting arbitrary user data. Histograms and user blocks can be written to, and read from disk. Handypak also contains CHP2, a Conversational Histogram Package, which allows interactive manipulation of histograms by commands entered at a terminal or read from a command file.
